We are getting close to the end of our trip. We are one flight away from Alberta and home. That doesn’t mean we don’t have time for some more adventures or that the blog posts will stop. There are still lots of stories, pictures and videos to share.

New Year’s Eve 2018 in Buenos Aires – That just sounds so cool to me. 🙂 The skies were almost clear for the super red blue full moon. Our tour guide from a few days ago mentioned that a few blocks behind the Casa Rosa we would find Puente de la Mujer. That bridge is a good spot to view the fireworks. We were also warned to plan in advance for anything you might need for the evening’s festivities. A quick visit to the local supermarket confirmed that. The produce and deli sections looked like a mob of shoppers had cleared out most of the options.

My First Time Surfing

After leaving Colombia on the 26 of September, we arrived in Lima Peru. We did many fun things while we were there (posts coming later). One of the things we did was to go to the beach. Lucas and I took surfing lessons. I was really nervous to take mine, but it was fun so I’m glad I did. The following video was posted a week ago, but I kept forgetting to make this blog. New Furniture

About a week ago, we received a call from the owner of the Air-B and B we are currently staying in. She told us that we were going to be getting new furniture. Days after her call a bunch of men showed up, brought all the stuff in and started building. None of the old furniture actually left the house, it just went to a new location.
