Buenos Aires, Argentina

Sorry I am late getting this posted. It seems that no matter what your circumstances are, planned and unplanned events fill all the time in the day. We found this place on Airbnb and we arrived by taxi after checking out of the La Barca Hotel. I had doubts about the accuracy of posting on Airbnb when the taxi stopped at the address. When we were inside however, I was pleased to see it was the place I saw in the pictures. Sydney was disappointed that the electronic keyboard was no longer here. I find the kitchen to be lacking in some basics, like bowls, coffee mugs, and a decent knife. We are not quite as central here as we were in the hotel, but that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. We are planning on checking out the subway and buses. I bought a SUBE card for buses in Bariloche and it will work here too. We have been staying in a lot the first week. We have lots of working and studying to do. One of the projects involves moving this blog and all the other dozen or so websites I maintain over to a new hosting company. If all goes well that task will be done before the weekend is over. Let me know next week if you think the site is any faster. Hopefully we’ll get caught up on all our work and see a few more sights over the next few weeks.

Airbnb apartment

The building doesn’t look like much from the outside, but open the door and go down a long hallway and you’ll find apartment #2.
