We spent four and half hours on a bus from San Jose to get to Monteverde. It is a popular little town, nestled in the mountains with several nature reserves in the surrounding area. We arrived after dark and were greeted with crisp, fresh air and spectacular display of stars in a cloudless sky.
The room here at La Guayaba Bed & Breakfast is very clean and smells nice. The picture accompanying this post is how the towels are presented when you arrive. They are folded into animal shapes. Kind of looks like a rabbit.
