Graffiti in Bogota
I’ve mentioned previously that there is a lot of street art and graffiti in Bogota. We are in Medellin now, so I can’t take new photos and videos. However I can show you some images that I took while we were there.
These two images are on two buildings adjacent to an empty lot. I walked by on the way to the grocery store every couple of days.

We rode the TransMileno to and from La Candelaria a few times. I was always amazed at how long the graffiti went on for along the walls of the route. Where it went under other roads or was simply below grade, there were walls. Were there were walls, there was graffiti!
The last time we headed back to the apartment I remember to take some video out the window. Unfortunately, that was the one time we had a driver in a hurry. He seemed to think he was way behind schedule. He accelerated and braked quickly and at the speeds we traveled. Holding the camera steady was a bit tricky. You may not be able to appreciate some of the quality of the graffiti. For that I am sorry, but I hope you can get a sense of how much there is.
What I captured is by no means all of it. They have walking tour recommendations for seeing some of the best the city has to offer. If you ever visit here, and the weather is nice, make some time to check out the graffiti in Bogota.
